Inductive vs Deductive Bible study? Inductive Bible study moves from specific examples to general conclusions, ie expository. - vs - Deduction Bible study moves from general examples to specific conclusions, ie topical.

What is the difference? Exegesis (objective, placing yourself UNDER the authority of the Word, good) - vs - Eisegesis (subjective, placing yourself in authority OVER the Word, always bad)

2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.
